Montserrat in the Leeward Islands lost its capital city to a volcanic eruption in the 1990s, but the new port of Little Bay welcomes visitors once more. The harbor, lined with palm trees, opens onto lovely sandy beaches. Special safety regulations allow visitors to view the Soufrière Hills volcano which caused the cataclysmic changes to the island.
