The snow hotel's interior temperature is -5°C (23°F) – somewhat temperate when the outside temperate is closer to -30°C (-22°F) – but a woolly sheepskin and a sturdy sleeping bag keep you warm(ish) atop the ice bed. From late June to April, seaside glass villas with transparent walls and ceilings offer private bathrooms, kitchenettes and, conditions permitting, aurora-watching.
