In a stunning building across from the Kimbell Art Museum, this stimulating museum displays paintings by the likes of Picasso, Mark Rothko and Francis Bacon, as well as sculptures including Anselm Kiefer’s lead-wrought Book with Wings and Martin Puryear’s soaring wooden Ladder for Booker T Washington.
