West Gate Towers
West Gate Towers
May 19, 2024

The city’s only remaining medieval gateway (1380) houses a museum that focuses on the building’s use as a prison. The views from the top are pretty good, but if you don’t go inside, you can always entertain yourself watching buses, wing mirrors folded back, as they squeeze through the medieval archway.

Eat in the adjacent restaurant (where you buy tickets) and you get in 'free'.
